Yeovil Boss In Talks

City chairman Steve Lansdown has revealed that he has held talks with Johnson and is now finalising a package in the hope of landing the Glovers boss to replace Brian Tinnion in the City hot-seat.

A statement on the official Bristol City website reads: "We made an official approach to Yeovil this week and were given permission to talk to Gary Johnson.

"That meeting took place yesterday and the clubs are now negotiating over a compensation payment."
