Wilson hints at extended stay

BRISTOL City's young defender James Wilson has revealed he would like to extend his stay at Brentford's Griffin Park - if Gary Johnson will allow him.

The Wales U19 international joined the Bees at the start of August on an initial one month loan and has so far earned rave reviews for his performances in central defence. Wilson told the Hownslow Chronicle that his long term aim is to break through at Aston Gate but said: "I'm not sure if there is an option to extend the loan beyond a month, but if I am playing regularily I'd be well up for staying longer."
