Williams Withdraws From Wales Squad

The 28-year-old City midfielder was forced to sit-out the away defeat at QPR at the weekend because of a calf injury and that will not have healed in time for him to play in Wales' 2010 World Cup qualifiers against Finland and Germany, both in Cardiff, on 28th March and 1st April respectively.

It is hoped that Williams will have recovered in time for City's next Championship game against Preston North End at Ashton Gate on Saturday, 4th April.
