Former Hereford midfielder Gavin Williams has refuted speculation linking him with a return to Edgar Street. The 29-year-old, who played for the Bulls between 1996 and 2002, fell out of favour at Bristol City last season and finished the campaign on loan at Yeovil. However, Williams wants to remain at Ashton Gate and try to force his way back into the team under new manager Steve Coppell. He told the Hereford Times: "I am quite happy at Bristol City and, at the moment, I am concentrating on getting my place in the Bristol City side. "I don't know anything about the rumours."
