Who Wants a Goalscorer?

I'll be slightly controversial here and say that we have several goalscorers at the club. All we really need to do is get them in the positions where they can score goals. With Sproule back and Nicky Carle in his favoured position, believe me, we will do that.

Darren Byfield - very natural goal scorer and for an average height he is excellent in the air.

Lee Trundle - We all know what he can do and he needs to start doing it or lose his place.

Enoch Showunmi - Puts himself about and at the very least creates opportunities for others.

Steve Brooker - Well on the road to full recovery and getting match fitness up with Cheltenham. He will return and he will score goals.

Marvin Elliott - Scoring freely this season by defensive midfield standards.

Nicky Carle - He can score goals and create goals but has only played two hours of football.

Michael McIndoe and Ivan Sproule - more than capable of a few goals between them.

Jamie McCombe and Tamas Vasko - They are thirteen feet tall if one stands on the others head. Always dangerous at set pieces.

Lee Johnson and Jamie McAllister - Always dangerous at set pieces

David Noble, Alex Russell even Bradley Orr - all can score goals

Who is left that can't score? Adrianno Basso? Knowing him he will score one day.

All this nonsense about needing a goalscorer is nonsense brought about by the transfer window, I say somebody please Shut the Window!!
