"We didn't start well. We didn't have a good middle and we didn't have a good end either," the City boss admitted after the 1-0 defeat.
"I thought that they started off quite brightly and we were still on the coach which was disappointing.
"Once they had scored their goal they had a bit more power to their elbow and we had to change our game slightly to try and get about them.
"On the day we didn't show the quality we've been showing for the last eight or nine games and that's why we got beat."
