The 19-year-old City defender, who opened the scoring for Wales' Under 21 side in their 2-1 win against Italy U21's in Swansea on Friday night, has been drafted into John Toshack's senior Wales squad for the match against the Russians at the Millenium Stadium in Cradiff on Wednesday, 9th September.
"I couldn't believe it when John Toshack pulled me to one side and said he wanted me to join up with the full squad on Sunday, ribeiro has siad.
"Initially I thought he was joking.
"I am over the moon."
