"If a player raises an arm to an opponent he goes off," said City boss Gary Johnson. I'm sure George will admonish his player over what happened when he sees the incident again."
On the footballing side Gary continued.
"It was the proverbial game of two halves. We showed our quality in the first period and our spirit in the second.
"We will keep our feet on the ground and still consider that we go into every Championship game as underdogs.
"But this group of players have now proved over a number of games that they are comfortable at this level and we'll do our best to maintain standards."
George Burley was not happy with the way Lee Johnson reacted to Safri's raised arm.
"When a fellow professional gets another sent off it is always disappointing," he moaned.
"Their lad went down as though as he had been poleaxed even though Youssef barely tapped him.
"We totally dominated the second half and camped in City's half without getting the break we needed.
"We won without playing well on Sunday and tonight I was delighted with the second-half display, even though we ended up with nothing."
