Former Republic of Ireland Under-21 striker John O'Flynn has joined Bristol City's tour to Scandinavia as Steve Coppell looks to add to his attacking options. The 28-year-old is out of contract at npower League Two club Barnet, where he scored 30 goals in 76 appearances. "John's been around for a little while. I've watched him at the same time I was looking at Kevin Doyle and Shane Long," ex-Reading boss Coppell told the Bristol Evening Post. "He's a good finisher and has scored goals at Barnet consistently. "This is an opportunity for him and it's nice to have people around the squad who are hungry. He wants a chance." Meanwhile, injured City duo Louis Carey (heel) and Marlon Jackson (hamstring) have resumed light training.
