Bristol City have decided not to offer John O`Flynn a deal. The out-of-contract Barnet forward has been training with the Robins since July 1 and travelled with the club on the recent tour of Sweden, where he played in all three matches and scored one goal. "John came away with us and did very well," City boss Steve Coppell told the club`s official website. "However, the good news we received about Nicky Maynard and Danny Haynes - that they don`t need surgery - means opportunities for John were limited. "The progress these two are making means we will not be taking our relationship with John any further and we wish him well for his future career." Meanwhile, former fans` favourite Scott Murray has signed a 12-month deal with Bath City. The 36-year-old made 427 appearances during 11 years over two spells at Ashton Gate.
