Noble delighted to be back in action

BRISTOL City midfielder David Noble is hoping that his performance on Saturday will be the beginning of something special for himself and also the club.

Noble made his first start of the season on Saturday against Southampton after returning from a groin injury and was involved in setting up the game's only goal with a pass to Lee Johnson.

The City boss praised Noble's return and Noble himself was pleased to be involved, he said,

"Just to get my first start of the season was the main thing for me.

"And obviously to win and set the goal up as well was great."
