Marvin Morgan's brace helped Aldershot to a resounding 3-0 win over Championship outfit Bristol City. The Shots took the lead five minutes before the interval when Morgan turned on the edge of the area and buried the ball past a despairing Dean Gerken. Aldershot doubled their lead from the penalty spot when Morgan was brought down by Lewin Nyatanga in the 62nd minute. The striker took the spot-kick himself and sent Gerken the wrong way to register his second goal. Trialist Wade Small cut in from the left and his effort went across the hapless City keeper to complete the rout.
