However, Johnson has ruled out trying to replace those afflicted with loan deals.
"If we bring in a loan then when someone is back fit again there will be too many around," he told the Bristol Evening Post.
"When they are all fit we have got a squad where there is competition for every single player's role.
"Generally there is two for one position and that is how I like it."
