CITY midfielder Lee Johnson has warned his Bristol City team mates to expect a tough examination when they face Crystal Palace tomorrow.
The game at Selhurst Park tomorrow will be the first between the two sides since last season's playoff semi-finals where a missed penalty by Ben Watson gave City impotus to complete a victory over the West-Londoners.
Son of manager Gary, has warned that despite 6 months since the defeat Palace may still be 'smarting' from their loss. He told the Bristol Evening Post that his team need to win if they are to re-establish themselves in the Championship's play-off positions for the second season running.
He told the Bristol Evening Post,
"Losing in the play-offs will have hurt Palace a lot and that's the sort of pain that stays with you. They'll be drawing on that on Saturday."
