Andy Booth (calf) remains a doubt after missing that game, so Pawel Abbott and Luke Beckett will play up front again.
Bristol City boss Gary Johnson could hand a debut to son Lee in midfield after signing him from Hearts.
Defender Richard Keogh is out after suffering a head injury in the reserves but Jamie McCombe (shin) and Scott Brown (Achilles) should be available.
Huddersfield boss Peter Jackson is expecting a tough game.
"I am expecting one of the toughest games of the season."
He told htafc.co.uk "This is a great opportunity for us to get two wins from the opening three games.
"We had a great win here on Tuesday but I know we can play a lot better and we will need to against Bristol City because they are a very good side.
"We had them watched against Bradford midweek and we know they are a big, strong side and I am expecting a physical battle.
Meanwhile Gary Johnson is not panicing after the defeat at Bradford.
"We haven't become a bad side overnight and the players haven't become bad players," the manager told Bristol City World.
"I admit there could be one or two changes but we certainly won't be panicked into making rash, wholesale changes."
