Paul Heffernan and Steve Brooker continue as striking partners, Leroy Lita on the bench. Fortune is in for the assaulted ...... erm injured..... Tony Butler. No Matty Hill who looks to be signing for QPR for a miserly £100k thanks to the efforts of the same agent that sold Louis Carey and Aaron Brown down the river. Bradley Orr and Tony Dinning continue in midfield with Brian Tinnion on the bench but no Tommy Doherty. Marc Goodfrellow is also there alongside Kevin Amankwaah and Scott Brown. Steve Phillips has recovered from a knock on the head in the Peterborough game to continue as our lone keeper.

City force an early corner that comes to nothing. Hull are a goal up at Stockport and Tranmere lead at home to Torquay. Dave Murfin has been injured and forces an early substitution from Huddersfield with Nat Brown coming on. It wasn't much of a challenge but the player was apparently not 100% fit to play. Pavel Abbot is well tackled by Jamie Smith when almost clear and Worthington shoots over from distance.

Pavel Abbot shoots over from 20 yards. Brandon back heels the ball and one of Tony Dinning, Clayton Fortune or Bradley Orr scores in his own net.

1-0 (Orr og. 18)

Hartlepool have taken the lead against MK Dons. A Murray cross is saved by Rachubka in the Huddersfield goal. Hull and Tranmere have both conceded equalisers. Rachubka saves at the feet of Steve Brooker but the City striker was offside. Brentford have scored against Walsall. City win a corner but it comes to nothing. Tony Dinning brings down a Chris Brandon and is booked, the 30 yard free kick is deflected for a corner and Phillips punches clear and then cleanly catches the corner. A mistake by Danny Coles leads to a cross from which Abbot scores but he is thankfully offside.

Danny Coles is booked for a foul. Phillips claims another cross well. City win a free kick as Steve Brooker is fouled. A few crosses later Huddersfield get the ball cllear. Jonathon Worthington has a shot that Phillips saves well. A poor back pass by Danny Coles is just cleared by Steve Phillips. Huddersfield are well on top. Heffernan is almost put through, then Brooker gets the better of Sodje but shoots against the goalkeeper. If City can nick one back before half time we will have done well.

Fortune tackles well as Pavel Abbot threatens again. Bournemouth have taken the lead at Doncaster. Murray crosses towards Brooker but Rachubka claims well. Luke Wilkshire is lucky not to be booked for a late challenge on Nat Brown. Into three minutes of injury time. Steve Phillips claims well at the feet of Danny Schofield. As Sodje shepherds the ball out for a goal kick Brooker foulds him and becomes the third City player booked. Steve Phillips claims well once more and is keeping City in the game somewhat. The Half Time whistle goes.

Half Time and City are lucky to not have conceded more goals. With three players book they will be doing well to get back into this game.

Stewve Phillips claims a cross well as Huddersfield continue to threaten. City haven't had a shot of note and their play-off aspirations are dented by other results.
