Gary Johnson said: "I did not see the incident but from what I have heard Lee was trying to get the ball back because Peter was holding on to it.
"I have been told the incident was not as bad as it looked. Both Lee and Peter are nice lads and I do not think there was any malice in it.
"I like Peter and so do all my family. We have no problem with the Jacksons."
Peter Jackson said: "Lee Johnson thought it was either a free-kick or throw in to them but I knew it wasn't.
"I was not sent off. The referee told me to go to the stand, drink some water and calm down. I have been told by the referee he will not mention it in his report, so I should not face any further consequences.
