The former Fulham manager stepped into the role at the end of last season and helped Coventry with their bid to survive in the Championship. With two games out of two won and his side facing Newcastle in the second round of the Carling Cup, Coleman has made no secret of his delight but is aiming to keep feet on the ground at the Ricoh.
He told the club's official website: "We've dealt well with the fixtures and approached them in a professional manner. We want to win every game and it was pleasing to win at Barnsley to add to the points we do against Norwich."
He urged his team be cautious in their strong position however saying: "We're not getting carried away. Last tear Coventry were top of the table at the start of September, I understand and we all know what happened after that. We will get fitter and the important thing is to keep picking points up."
