Steven Gillespie is rested from the squad with a slight hamstring strain. Tinnion says that this team will play the full 90 minutes with no wholesale changes at half-time as in the previous friendly matches.
In playing with four at the back we appear to have a problem at right-back following the departure of Louis Carey. Until Kevin Amankwah returns there is only Sekani Simpson as a right back specialist. Talk of Bradley Orr playing there worries me slightly; we signed him as an attacking midfielder, someone who shoots from distance and also times his late runs into the penalty area to score goals. His talents would, for me, be wasted at right back. Scott Murray is no defender although functions well as a wing-back. On Saturday Tinnion starts with Danny Coles there, with Matty Hill partnering Tony Butler in the centre of the back four. Ryan Harley has been given the holding role in the midfield three and has impressed so far in pre-season. Plenty of pace in the front trio of Scott Murray, Paul Heffernan and Christian Roberts.
This should be Tinnions toughest test so far. Personally I anticipate a far better result than the 1-0 defeat of two years and a day ago.
