Johnson admitted that he sees 'nothing good about the transfer window' but says that the club could do further business ahead of Monday's midnight deadline.
In a bit to set the record straight on the club's plans before tomorrow night he first laughed off speculation linking him with a a move for James Scowcroft saying there was 'nothing' in that rumour. He did however suggest that the club had enquired about a 'young left-sided defender' but Johnson said that Akinde will probably be his only signing.
On the future of Lee Trundle, who said yesterday he would like to rejoin Swansea at some point in the future, hinting at a short term move to get first team football, Johnson told the official website: "There's nothing in that, of course that wouldn't happen.
"He's our player now and he's got to wait for his oppertunity."
