Bristol City v Swansea

Last updated : 31 January 2011 By BBC Sport

Swansea captain Garry Monk (knee) remains on the sidelines, as does fellow defender Neil Taylor, who has an ankle injury.

Andrea Orlandi has been ruled out for up to six weeks after suffering another thigh injury on his return to action against Leyton Orient on Saturday.

MATCH PREVIEW

Saturday's home defeat against League One side Leyton Orient sent Swansea tumbling out of the FA Cup, but perhaps of even greater concern was their recent tumble out of the Championship's top two.

The Swans, who are fourth, needed a late equaliser to rescue a draw at Barnsley in their last league match. That is the only point they have picked up in their last four away trips, and they have won only one of their last six on the road.

That might offer some encouragement to a Bristol City side that has gone four-and-a-half hours of Championship football without scoring a goal, and are without a win in five league and cup games.

The Robins started 2011 brilliantly, beating Cardiff 3-0 on New Years' Day, but they have not won since and it remains their only victory in eight matches.
