Reid ready for Rotherham
Bristol City's new boss Steve Cotterill will be able to call on Bobby Reid for his first league match in charge of the Robins against Rotherham.
The homegrown midfielder came through an appearance for the club's Under-21s unscathed in midweek and is fully fit after a hamstring problem.
Simon Gillett and Stephen McLaughlin come back into the equation after they were cup tied for the 2-1 victory over Tamworth on Sunday.
And Cotterill could continue with the diamond formation he fielded at The Lamb Ground which saw Sam Baldock and Ryan Taylor as the front two with Jay Emmanuel-Thomas playing behind them.
Rotherham will monitor defender Joe Skarz ahead of their trip.
The left-back missed Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat to Fleetwood with a thigh problem and is rated at 50/50.
Mark Bradley, who went off at half-time with a groin injury, is expected to be fit along with Pablo Mills (leg), while David Worrall (groin), Rob Milsom (back) and Michael O'Connor (thigh) have stepped up their training and will hope to be involved.
Midfielder Michael Tidser returns to the squad after a one-match ban.
